EDUC 560

Education 560, wonderful course in teaching diploma, by Dr. Amal Farhat. We have learn about business card, design a scientific post and now we learning about blogger. Next we will make web quest, VCT and design power point.

Even some people are against technology and many are engaged into it in a negative way. But we have to learn how to use technology in a positive productive manner.

   The hard question: how can we implement educational technology if we don't have the right equipment's, if no Internet or tabs?

   Here come the creation of the teacher to performance with student all level of thinking using different materials either books, tabs and many tools until student understand the point.

Why Blog ?

   What is the importance of blog? How blogging effect our life? what are the benefit from it ?
First of all blogging has done more to spread knowledge and ideas it grow with us until we die.when u start blogging you'll become more better writer, by words you communicate with other.

   Because the process of writing includes recording thoughts on paper, the blogging process encourages you to stop and think deeper, therefore you'll think more.
Once you start writing about your life you’ll begin thinking more about who you are, who you are becoming.
Blogging is a never ending process of choosing the most meaningful events and the most important thoughts you will write about.

   This will help you to meet people quickly online, Whether it be through comments, e-mails, or social media and you will inspire other, blogging its not only changing your life but also changes the reader life.
Additionally you will be more confident and improve your self from the comments and feedback's.

Pollution in Lebanon

Pollution is the most dangerous disaster and Lebanese citizen are not aware of it since its increasing it effect on human being and our future children. We all should more and work out to minimum the effect and save our life now and in future.

First of all, air pollution is the great influence on Lebanese health, since industry is increasing and factories and their toxic fumes that transmit to atmosphere. Also the number of cars will exceed the number of the Lebanese citizen.So we can solve it by using filters and bikes or cars friendly with the environment.

Secondary the soil pollution should be notice like using pesticides that get into our food,and may also affect the natural genetic reproduction of certain foods, making them harmful to people.therefore we should stop using it and use the green house.

Water pollution also in not familiar with Lebanese people and should every one be aware of it.since we dump the sewage in the sea and the fish is contaminated and we eat it, therefore all that will be dangerous on our system. At the end we all should be aware specially the government in order to save the country.

Technology and Children

Technology is every where, in home in street in schools in hospitals even in class. Technology is invading our life without we noticing that. What are the consequences of technology on our children? How can we minimum the effect of technology on them? All these questions and more i'll try to answer in these few lines.

The question that we should ask our selves about the content that our children watch. Is it educational programs? How much should children spend on scream media? The age at which children start viewing screens and the number of hours watched per day are increasingly linked to negative physiological changes and medical consequences. There appears to be a dose response relationship with more hours per day linked to greater likelihood that negative effects will appear, often years later, in the child.

How can help our child to avoid these effects? specially that we can't isolate our selves from the society and technology. Lets think and share some ideas!

Behaviorism vs Cognitive Theory

In this post will compare behaviorism and cognitive as a learning theory, and u will decide which one is more better.

The cognitive theory focus on the student as a center and to construct their understanding of content to which they exposed therefore it will long last in there memory.
Their is 6 level of cognitive domain, it start with the knowledge, comprehension,application,analysis , synthesis, evaluation and at last creation.

While on the other hand the behaviorism theory focus to change the knowledge by controlled stimulus or response conditioning.
Behaviorism reward or punish depending on the correct number of answers, while cognitive depend on the motivation theory.

Now after reading these few lines which theory you 'll use in teaching? what do u care for marks or future or the students, specially that in behaviorism we don't have any creations or hobbies that can develop in future.

What is ESP?

Esp as definition: Extra sensory perception that involve in reception information without uses of physical senses but use the mind that refer to sixth sense that sense can't understand. Its part of paranormal psychic phenomena.

There are many types of ESP but there are 4 general types of it:

Clairvoyance: is the paranormal perception of people, places or events.

Precognition: is the paranormal perception of people, places or events in future.

Retrocognition: is the paranormal perception of people, places or events in past.

Mediumship: is to communicate with soul of people and animal after reading those lines, do u believe in untested perception that people have? or should every thing be tested and measured in order to be sense and believed.

Every day we face situations in class, home and society that we act in a specific way that we don't know that we have our own philosophy.

Technology in Education

Technology invades each home in our society quickly and silently,it effect in our children daily life and achievement in school.

How can technology benefit us in education in positive way?
How can we introduce technology in our curriculum to increase learner’s critical thinking and more achievement?

We benefit from technology in researches, educational games and applications, student world connection between different countries, study from a distance as having master online and finally web seminar in general.

Specially by using Internet we can make web quest as a test for students online, have a blog to write thoughts and ideas and online questioner for collecting data.
