Diabetes melitus is a metabolic disease in which the person has high blood sugar,either because insulin production is inadequate, or because the body's cells do not respond properly to insulin,or both.
Symptoms:
- Weight loss
Polyuria (frequent urination)
Polydipsia (increased thirst)
Polyphagia (increased hunger)
Blurred vision
Vision changes
- Diabetic dermadromes (skin rashes)
There is four types of Diabetes : Type 1 , type 2, gestational diabetes, and other specific types.

- Over weight: stay at a healthy normal body weight
